Marketing Campaign: Dracula (Liffey Players Drama Society)

From 2007-2009 Paul served as Presdident of the Liffey Players Drama Society, a Calgary based community theatre group. During this time Paul also provided public relations and promotions services to the group. The following is the marketing campaign for the theatre society's 2007 production of "Dracula".
 
Dracula ran at the Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary from October 5-13, 2007.

  

Campaign Ojectives
  •  To promote the Liffey Player's fall production of Dracula;
  • To reach a target audience of at least 200 for each of the nine performance nights;
  • To demonstrate why Liffey decided to stage a production of Dracula and how it reflects its mandate to perform plays from playwrights with irish roots;
  • To motivate the general public to contact the Pumphouse Theatre for advanced tickets;
  • To encourage audience members to vote for the production in the annual Calagary Alliance of Theatre's awards.
Campaign Results
  •  Successful creatiion of print and multi-media products distributed throughout the month of September;
  • Successful distribution of media kit to over 50 media outlets resulting in high profile media coverage from CTV, Global, CityTV, the Calgary Herald, the Calgary Sun, 660 News Radio among others. Total of 38 media hits in all.
  • Over 2,000 tickets to the show were sold during its run with three nights sold out.
